Mrs.Malec/Mrs.Gershon, So far in the book I have learned about how Bud (the main character) is living in his foster home with his friend named Jerry. That morning Bud and Jerry find out that they have been put into seperate foster homes and that they will be moving automatically. When Bud gets to his new foster house, he is treated very fairly but when he wakes up from a long nap he sees the Amoses sung next to him. Before Bud knows it, Tood is punching & kicking at him. When Bud tries to fight back, Mrs.Amose comes into their room. Now both boys are bruised and Todd has begun to imitate an asthma attack. Not a split second passes by until bud is shut and locked in their shed with thoughts of gory, terrifying stories of the other foster children. When bud tries to kill the hornets nest. (he had mistaken it for a vampire bat)Bud has no choice but to crash through the window and run for his life. Only he DOESN'T leave their house he heads back for his revenge.
i really want to see what is going to happen next because i want to know what he is going to do because of all of the bites and i feel verry bad for bud
Also, what's with the "woop, zoop, sloop" in chapter 4. I know that it means that Todd had wet the bed (which, to me, is so funny), but at the same time I don't get why that's Bud's thought.
i think in chapter 1 that his life was very peaceful in the foster home but he got separated with his best friend jerry and his friend must have the worst life and i would like to know what happend to jerry -julianna
Julianna- I do think that is a big concern too because he might get sick or something-And remember that gash what do you think will happen to Bud?! -Spencer
Spencer, I think that Bud isn't going to get caught for taking handling the shot gun. I also think that when he had the shotgun in his hands it was very thrilling. I was thinking, "Oh my gosh, is Bud really going to take it?".
Bri, I was really scared that Bud was going to get beat up by the man who was at that lunch place (I forget what it's called). That was really interesting and suspencing.
I am really interested in this book. Are you guys????? Also, I feel really bad that Bud got stung by all those wasps. I can't believe he didn't cry! He's so brave. I think that Bud should've done more for revenge. (I probably would have.) The Amoses are REALLY mean!!!!!
summary - i think the book is awesome and here is a summary for . one day a kid at a foster home was getting breakfeast but a person that works there told him to hurry up and eat your going to a family that will take care of you but he didt want to leave his friend behind but the person that worked there told him that he was leaving too. but he didnt want to go to another family but he had to go to were ever they told you to go. so i feel bad for bud. -julianna
Spencer, I'm really glad that Bud didn't get beaten up by that man at the mission (thanks for the info)! I already feel really bad for Bud. I would then feel even worse. Also, the children with the family that saved Bud were really greedy. I probably wouldn't have been able to put up with those brats. However the parents were really kind to save Bud. They were very generous. I would be glad to be with the parents if I were Bud.
